I love old photographs. One year I taught myself how to paint with water colors by painting a series of portraits from old family photos. Now I mainly use oils when painting portraits and also have begun accepting commissions for pet portraits. Why keep cherished family photographs stuffed in a shoebox on the closet shelf when they can become a piece of art to be enjoyed for generations?
